And now for dessert.
I thought yesterday was something, today we headed into Alsek lake. Loaded with ice bergs, glaciers thundering away as they collapse into the see. If yesterday was the main course, today was the dessert.
I cannot wait to immerse myself to achieve a full sense of it all.

Sometimes we need to check out what the Canadians call the groover: perhaps because there are grooves left on your back side. In Australia this would be a thunderbox: more apt I say given it's a munitions box ! More polite and poetically I like the English term it's a loo with a view.
We hand around for two days, and so that should be. This place is special. A paddle out to the icebergs is a must. Looks are deceiving,they are a long way off.
We clamber up to the top of the mountain on our little island for an eagle's view.
and yes !
So soon our adventure is reaching an end. The last night is a sensory treat.
